Long Retired Gargoyle

I have been selling gargoyles for a long time!

One thing that happens over the years is that I get new work — either a new piece from an existing artist, or sometimes a new artist enters the flock! The flip side is that I also lose pieces. Either the artist decides to retire the gargoyle, sometimes the artist retires, and sometimes they decide to close up shop.

Max Gargoyle
The picture for this gargoyle is dated January 2004. I don't remember when I stopped selling this guy, I do remember that the company making them was sold and then closed. Max was a favorite of mine.

Mini Gargoyle
This little gargoyle sold very well. There was this guy, and a similar one styled like the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral gargoyle. This photo is dated November 2003.

Thirteen Century Notre Dame Gargoyle
This gargoyle is a model of one from the 13th century Notre Dame Cathedral. The cathedral was rebuilt in the 1800s — and most of the familiar gargoyles date from that time. This photo is time stamped November 2003.

Retired Gargoyle
This guy is currently not in production. I keep trying as this is most definitely a favorite gargoyle sculpture of mine!

If you see a piece that you like you should consider the possibility that the gargoyle may not be available at a later date! Visit gargoylestore.com today — email servers are standing by!
